IKEA is open! Check out the Ektorp couch

Ektorp Couch

I heard about it on the radio and I read about it in the paper this morning so I decided to look it up i.e the Ektorp couch. Probably the best type of couch for a … whole load of reasons; not only is it comfortable, relatively inexpensive and comes with a 10 year warranty but also because it”s ridiculously easy to clean and easy to change the appearance if you get bored with it! The couch comes with its own slogan – “Removable, Washable, change-your-mind-able covers” and it really does all that!

Take a look at the Ektorp Couch range

If you want one all you have to do is head to the IKEA store on St. Margaret’s Road Ballymun which has opened its doors today!!

Did anyone go to the opening? Any thoughts? I live in Cork so am wondering if it’s worth the trip…although all I’ve heard is good so perhaps an ol’ day trip sometime…

I was on their website and I cannot find their catalogue? Although it is advertising it’s 2010 one… I dont think I can wait until then!! Does anyone know if there is a current issue of the IKEA catalogue i.e. an Irish one with Euro prices? I know I could just browse online but it so nice to be able to sit down and relax with a cuppa tea flicking through the pages figuring out what you’d love to buy!

Me too! But the only thing is – i’m thinking that by about Christmas probably nearly ever house in Ireland will have something from IKEA! There goes trying to be unique and different!

I’m so excited about IKEA coming to Dublin it’s not funny. I’m even considering popping along after work today. Dublin Bus have extended the 13 and 13a routes to go to the store 😀
