First property on the list and the least expensive of our three properties is a 3 bed semi detached located just outside Tipperary Town and on the market for €210,000. The description for 62 Springfield Grove in Rossmore Village has been kept short and sweet; it has been described as a bright, spacious and well laid out detached home in an attractive, sharply designed development. Moving up north of the county our second Tipperary property on the list is 136 Collie Bheithe, a 4 bed detached dormer in Neagh town. From one extreme to the other we move right down sound of the county for the last property on our list. Coming in on the dot of €220,000 is a Longfield, Ardgeeha in Clonmel, a 3 bed semi detached in a new development described as “luxury estate homes”.

Who are you kidding. This is no bargain. The days when realtors could tell us something is value for money is over. 210 k in Tipperary is a joke.

In 1997 my mate Ryan Murphy bought a similar 4-bed detached house in Tipp for about €85k. This makes €219 look high. In any case what can you rent a similar house for? A lot less than the interest on a loan I bet.
