Our latest garden-landscaping project has taken us to the County of Louth where we are working on striking elevated site nestled between the Cooley Mountains on one side and the Cooley peninsula on the other. The garden to be is set in a beautiful location with stunning views of wonderful natural scenery and much cared for landscapes.
We are no strangers to undertaking landscaping projects in rural areas but it is perhaps the first time we’ve had to have steps to protect our working area from some local inquisitive bulls! With the weather is on our side as we begin the initial groundwork; excavations of foundations and the removal of grass areas. In a short time the site has been cleared; lawn removed, digs complete and the concrete for foundations poured.
Once the concrete is set the wall construction to begin – the stacked blocks have a passing resemblance to some form of stone monoliths! I suppose a Stonehenge block installation?
