It doesn’t seem all that long ago since we started this project, but despite some lost days caused by very disruptive wet weather we are now entering the final stages. All construction work completed signals the commencement of the planting phase and preparing the ground for the new lawn. It’s hardly surprising why the planting phase should generate excitement, it is after all, the first time when the hard and soft landscaping elements, i.e., construction and planting elements combine together to assert the distinct look and impressions of the new garden.
It is very satisfying that the scope of this project completed within three weeks is well capable of lasting several decades. Yes the planting will need to be nurtured, but the structural integrity of the primarily natural stone elements will ensure that this new garden will not require much effort to remain in pristine condition. Proof is ever needed that investing in quality materials and careful but skillful implementation will always deliver the best value.
