The National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) has reported a net profit of €222m in the first half of the year according to the Section 55 Quarterly Report for Q2 2012 which was published by the agency today. The Section 55 Quarterly Reports detail the agency’s performance quarter by quarter and are presented to the Minister for Finance.
Information included in the report for Quarter 2 includes:
- NAMA generated a net profit of €89m during the second quarter and an aggregate profit of €222m over the first half of the year.
- NAMA generated €8.1 billion in cash from borrowers since its inception (to end June 2012).
- NAMA has approved working capital of €1.34 billion to end June of which €863m had been drawn down.
